10 New Ideas for Healthy Toddler Snacks

I was sitting with a group of moms in my Friday 11:30 class at The Lake Washington Toddler group discussing nutrition, when this list was created. I thought it was amazingly creative and for the most part, packed full of nutrition. I hope you’re able to use a few ideas for your own table.  Be sure to let me know how they work for you and your children!

  1. Olives for little fingers
  2. Edamame
  3. Toasted Garbanzo Beans
  4. Roasted Kale Chips
  5. Mango and peaches cubed and rolled in ground wheat germ or flax seed (easy for kids to pick up)
  6. Sliced avocado
  7. Jicama
  8. Fruit on skewers (I used chopsticks)
  9. Diced cheese with pretzel sticks (fun to poke and eat)
  10. Smoothies with spinach, yogurt, milk and fruit
